There are six main beaches in Santa Pola, which is siutated about 10 minutes south of Gran Alacant. All the beaches are sandy and all have Red Cross facilities and lifeguard towers with the Gran Playa and Playa de Levante both having wheelchair access as well. All the beaches are cleaned every night and are therefore spotlessly clean, as is the water.
The Levante Beach is a superb 425m sandy beach with inflatables and pedalos as well as sunbeds and parasols for hire. There is also a large volleyball net on the beach plus some lovely beachfront cafes and restaurants.
Heading south is the Santa Pola Marina which has 234 berths, plus 195 car park places. Taking a walk along the Marina, you will find some stylish restaurants and bars as well as international brands such as Burger King and Lizarran. With soft music playing whilst you eat and drink, the Marina is a lovely spot for a break from the beach!
The Gran Playa at 1084m is the longest beach in Santa Pola and along with Playa Lisa and Playa Tamarit, has a long expanse of sandy beach with more bars and restaurants, windsurfing and pedal boats
